I keep losing coolant but there is nothing leaking on the ground or squirting from anywhere. I have changed the water pump, thermostat, radiator cap, belts and hoses. I have had to add a gallon of coolant about every 3 days. When I add the coolant the temperature gauge stays at one notch above C. After 2-3 hours of driving the needle is near the red H and I can add about 1/3 gallon of coolant. And then it runs normal for another 2-3 hours. What is it? Where is the coolant going? Checking that all plugs look the same can help rule that out. In the oil it will make a gray mess. As much coolant that you are adding I would look at the tail pipe and see if the coolant is coming out there.
