TBI Question???

OK well i was give a jeep Comanche 2wd 4speed and was wondering it has a single barrel TBI but was wondering... if i could just take the whole TBI System off the jeep and replace it with a 4 barrel HOLLEY performace TBI... and i wanna upgrade...some.. so thats why im asking i dont really wanna go to the junk yard... were pretty sure thats whats the issue is because you can pour some gas into the TBI unit with it open and then try starting it and it will fire up from what seems like till that little gas runs out then dies... any ideals on that would help to.. thanx guys

dazed; What year is the Comanche? I think your first priority would be to get fuel to the injector that you've got. Let alone, three more. If this is a single injector, I'm assuming it's a four cylinder? Or, you could hire someone to sit in the engine compartment with a spray bottle full of gas and have them squirt fuel into it as you drive? (NOT) Shouldn't have suggested that. You might try it?

this is an 86 i believe and yeah im not doing that i mean it ha fuel going through it and all just dies unless u keep putting gas in it but since someone tampered with it im wanting to upgrade so i was wondering could i just put a 4 barrel on instead of a single
???

Do you have injector pulse? Most parts stores sell reman. throttle bodies, but doubt that's your problem.
