Synthetic High Mileage Oil in a New Car? Sign In

I just purchased a 3.5L Toyota Venza and I'm wonderding if I use the synthetic high mileage oil from the start if that would extend the life of the engine? Same for the transmission and differential?

I used the synthetics on my Lexus LX470 starting at around 200,000 miles and got 465,000 miles out of it with only doing regular maintenance.

Thanks in advance.

Not specifically "high mileage" version but yes, you will but you have to determine if the extra cost is worth it. Use regular synthetic. High mileage is for cars that already have high mileage.
