I've been having some problems starting my car. Sometimes it will start, and sometimes it won't. Sometimes when I try to start the car, it will make a loud winding noise and it sounds like it isn't gripping. After I turn the ignition a few times, it will start to make a noise, like it is trying to catch. At first there will be a few loud pops, with the winding noise. Often I've noticed if I work with it, the car eventually starts. When I look at the gas gauge, it appears to be changing. Sometimes it will show a quarter of a tank or less, and other times around half a tank, and then there is the noise it will occasionally make when parked and running. The car will rev up and done by itself. It doesn't always do this, and I don't know if all these problems are related. Does anyone have an idea about what's wrong with it?
