I have just bought a 1986 3.0L Nissan Skyline R-31, GX model. Its a really nice car apart from a few minor problems. The main one that concerns me (for obvious reasons) is the speedo doesn't work. It will be fine at the start of a drive but then it just fades out, and either doesn't move again or flies around wildly. My dad and I have had a look underneath the car but we were completely lost. I might add that the petrol gauge doesn't work either. I'd love any advice on how to fix this.
