I have a1997 gmc 1500 3rd door truck.The truck run's good except when you load apull behind trailer with a riding in the trailer.When you have aload as described above the engine start' s acting like it's miss firing then the check engine light come's on. HELP

It sounds like there is an ignition misfire under load. You need to have the codes read and that will give you a place to start. When you have the codes read, post back the EXACT code number and we can help you.
