I replaced a belt on a 99 Grand Am before. The motor mount runs right between the belt. You're going to have to unbolt the motor mount and jack the motor up in order to get the belt off and on. Careful of your fingers when you slip the belt through the mount. You don't want that engine to fall with your fingers in there.
