That should be the routing diagram with A/C. Note CS = Crankshaft pulley. Some 3.8s require removing bolt to engine mount, support engine, get belt in place and put mount back to get a belt off or a new one on! Just don't know on this one but it becomes clear with a look. Sure - you can cut an old one off but can't replace it if that type. If you never took it off and it isn't broken you should be able to put old one back in place,
