I have a 99 chevy suburban with a 350. My water pump is leaking and I am thinking of switching to an electric water pump and an electric fan. Has anyone acomplished this? if so any complications. Also how long is an electric water pump suppose to last? electric fan?

IMO - just replace the pump with OE replacement, check or replace fan clutch too. Never heard of an electric substitute in place of OE pump which if leaking has to be removed and replaced with something anyway so why not just replace it? Are you sure it's the pump leaking at all? Intakes are common for leaking on these..... T
