I have a 1993 S-10 Blazer,
Car ran absoulty perfect up till last april.
while warming up in driveway It just Quit!
Car will start for about '2' seconds and die.
It will continue to run if you spray fuel into the CPI port.
As of now I have replaced all of the following.
Fuel pump, fuel pump relays, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, oil pressure switch __
complete distributor, cap, rotor, wires, plugs.
(A new starter to replace the one i burned out)
The code reading was clear. #12 I think.
The EGR was replaced about a year ago, So was the IAC, coolant temp, MAP & MAF.
SO! Doe's anyone have any idea's or suggestions on why this car only runs for '2' seconds and dies. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be helpful.
Than You

Just a wild guess.... A wild vacuum leak like a brake booster or hoses etc to it could cause something like this. Plug it off and see what happens but DON'T drive the vehicle like that. Just something to think about. Use your judgement as to whether that's a possibility, good luck,

Tom.
Thanks for the reply. I already took that shot. vacuum port in rear is plugged.
little one in front has hose on it. plenum has new gasket. about 20 minutes ago i ran a wire from the battery
driectly to the fuel pump socket. pump is running. car still will not run longer that 2 seconds.
I know that the system charges & shuts down until the car is running.
something is not allowing the fuel to get to that $300 item located under the 'CRAB'
I was told that this car has a fuel pump inertia shut off switch.
any idea where it might be located. can't find it in the book.

The owner's manual may say where a reset is. Hope so,
