2001 Hyundai Accent - Power Steering and Emergency Brake Repair
Hi,
The power steering went (abruptly) on my 2001 Hyundai Accent. I started the car, went to drive off, and there was smoke coming from the hood and it became hard to turn the wheel. When driving at faster speeds, it's not as difficult to turn.
I would like to know what the ballpark cost of repairing this, as well as the emergency brake (parts/labour).

Anywhere from $100 to $2000. It needs to be inspected to determine what is wrong with it.
