Please help me can not fill up my car

I have a 2004 Nisaan Sentra. Today my gas light came on so I drove to the gas station to fill up my car and started to have a problem. I heard a swooshing sound then the gas began to come back up. I tried to hold the pump different ways but each time it would either click like it was full of make swoosh sound and the gas would come pouring out. What is the reason for this? It is soo frustrating

More than likely the vent system is being obstructed. It could be a bad hose, stuck valve, canister, etc....I would have to be tracked down...
I would pull codes and see fi there is any evap codes..... Drive it for a bit and try again, maybe the a valve just stuck for a bit and then freed itself up........you never know....
