Hi, I have a 2001 Ford Taurus with about 116000 miles on it. Today I was driving and heard a weird noise from behind the back right tire. When I checked it out, I noticed something was leaking but I don't know what it is. It is leaking a clear liquid that doesn't really smell like anything dripping from a small black circle behind the tire. Anyone know what this is? Here is the spot it is leaking from:

Not sure about the noise, but from the picture, I would open the trunk and move away any items form the trunk including carpet or matting and reveal the inside of what looks like a hole in the floor of the right hand rear wheel well area and it is leaking water that may be standing in the trunk due to a water leak inside the trunk. If it is in fact water, you will need to locate the source of the leak so you can prevent further water intrusion into your trunk. This will ensure that the standing water does not rust out your body and or establish mold and mildew and or bugs.
Once you repair the water leak source you can use body seam sealer to seal that hole in the floor of your trunk.
The easiest way to locate your water leak is starts with starting you car and turning the A/C on outside air NOT RECIRCULATE,make sure your power door locks do not lock with the car running and the doors closed, if so keep your door key outside with you!, Make sure all the windows are up and then get a generic spray bottle mix 50% water with 50% baby shampoo and using a water hose no spray attachment needed, and wet the entire trunk area and the roof and rear glass, then slowly start to spray with shampoo water mixture and when you start to see bubbles form then you have found a source of air escaping from the vehicle and a possible cause for further inspection as the cause of the leak. This is generally a worn seal or weather strip, or crack in a brake light lens, or around body seams that have a pin hole....etc,... the list goes on.
