Peugeot keypad immobiliser lockout Sign In

My husband bought a Peugeot 106 P Reg Diesel a few weeks ago and it has a keypad immobiliser. Today he put the wrong number in and it locked him out. So the car wont start and he had to get a lift in to work. He needs the car for work and we dont have any money so we cant fork out for a huge bill. Is there any way around this like totally unplugging the immobiliser or something and how would he go about it. The priority is the car needs to start we dont care if the immobiliser doesnt work. I hope someone can help. Thanks

Sorry but I don’t have any literature on this vehicle; but I’ll keep looking.
What year is this Peugeot?

I didnt realise I answered as a guest. Its 1997.
Some people have said you need to disconnect the battery for a while and then reconnect it and it should work.

I don't know about that; if it were so easy, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having it?
Sorry again; but I don't have any info on this vehicle. 1991 was the last year my WEB based repair manuals even talk about Peugeot.

Hey guess what. When he got home from work he just tried the code and it worked!! So you obviously have to leave it for a certain amount of time and then try again. YAY. Thanks anyway.
