Hi, I have a Peugeot 206 1.4 Auto (2001), last night I pulled up outside my house and parked, when I opened the door I realised no inside light had come on, I tried to start the car again and it is completely dead - no turning over or anything, my remote locking won't work either. I left it overnight in case it had got wet with the heavy rain but it's the same this morning. My brother said it could be a main fuse and to look in the handbook - no handbook with the car grrrrr. Please can you help?

Can only be a guess but this could be a few things but would rule out plain connections at battery even if they appear ok they might not be and behave as if it had no battery and cause this. Get the right owner's manual and find out about any security features if equipped also as several vehicles can have assorted problems from just disconnecting a battery if a memory saver is not used. Can't know what this one might have of course factory items or original equipped items, T
