Search Auto Parts Search Passenger side Front wheel doesn`t spin Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Car Troubleshooting sitopons User Nov 19, 2010, 2:48 PM Post #1 of 4 (2747 views) Passenger side Front wheel doesn`t spin Sign In   2002 Wolswagen Golf GLS 2.0 L 115 CV Front wheel 89k Seems that while coming out of a gas station, to avoid some coming cars I pushed the accelerator a little too harshly and the vehicle started to make some clunking noise in the front end. Right there and then the car slowed down and per fear of breaking something I came to a full stop. Once the car had been towed to my garage I'd noticed that the passenger front wheel doesn't spin freely, it goes as far as a 1/8" of a turn both sides then stops as opposed to the driver side wheel which spins without a problem. I had raised the car and had looked underneath the carriage but nothing catches my eye, nothing seems broken or worn out, nor do I see any metal parts rubbing with each other. Can anyone guess what it might be? or things I should check to find any probable causes. I would suspect that your problems are going to be in the brakes somewhere.
