Greeting auto guru's, I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer, and the passenger side power mirror broke loose. How difficult is this to replace? And any links to instructions if it can be done. If this is something more than a novice can do, I'll have to find the $$$ and take it to a shop, but would prefer to do by myself. Especially considering I have to come up with money to cover the key job a *%#!*@ in a Walmart parking lot did to it. Thanks, - TK

A junkyard can be you best friend for this. Haven't seen a power one aftermarket yet. I think that veh has a trim panel inside that will just pop out and then three nuts that you go thru holes in the door to remove it. It should pull out far enough to unplug it. Use a magnet so you don't drop the nuts in the door. Check a used one's electrics before you install it. Put strong duct tape on a socket to any extention needed and weaker masking tape to hold the nuts for intalling helps. It IS a doable job and you can save some bucks doing it yourself, good luck,
