The rod that works the lock may have come off. A more likely problem is the door lock/latch itself. The latch and the lock are all one unit. Common failure on Chrysler cars. You'll need to remove the door panel to gain access. Most of them use a plastic linkage clip which you can get at most parts stores or the dealer.
