Odometer & Speeometer not working

Odometer & Speeometer not working

2004 Mercury Monterey Tachometer works but speedometer and odometer do not. Was wrecked and put in shop for repair everything worked before and after crash. Problems occurred after repair. Is there anything I can do to fix this as shop is not accepting responsibility for problems.

Is this recent after the work was completed? Where I am - insurance if used allows for "unforeseen" damage and some can be expected so get them going on this too.
With a collision there's no telling what wires might have been damaged or just left loosely plugged back in after work - who knows?
This info is likely sent by senders from trans and somehow if it still runs well is just not reading out but must be getting the info to engine controls.
For right now I guess I'd be looking for damage to wiring where the car was damaged and items that may have been disturbed or needed to be removed for the fix up,
