Hi I have a 2002 Rover 25 IXL 1.6 that has only done 49,000 miles. Need to take the second hand car back to garage for them to replace cat and middle pipe but my car has very little power when driving. I need a quickfix fast, is there anything I can do ? I know about the o2 sensor and disconecting it to basically let the exaust system breath, is this the fastest and easiest quickfix ? I need to know how to get the car driveable just to get fron point A to B. I defo know its my cat and middle pipe needing replaced.....help !

Short of the Wizard of OZ, you either replace the Cat or you don't drive it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Hey - folks test by loosening exhaust for a quick test. You don't want exhaust heat and it's hot up closer getting on something that could be a disaster. Tow it as the others suggested, T
