No start

I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee with a 5.2 engine. Okay the first problem was the Alternator and Battery was bad. Not know at the time my girl was keep trying to start it and the spark plugs got wet. So I change replaced them with new ones and still no start. What should I do next?
