Nissan automatic seatbelts Sign In

My wife car has those seatbelts that run fwd when the door opens and aft when it closes. it is giving problems now, Can they be fixed? I think that flex cable that moves the trolly has started to go bad

The trolley that carries the belt rearward to pull the belt over the shouder is jamming about 2/3 of the way back. it seems very dangerours. the manaual I have does not show anything about that mechanism at all. it is motor driven and I want to find out how to repair it.

Please give yrar and model. I am not familiar with that system, but I can look up information that may help you fix the problem.
