Need help with UV leak detection fluid for engine oil Sign In

Hello! Does anyone here know what florescent UV engine oil dye I can use that isn't the same yellow/green color used in the cooling system? I already put some of that(yellow/green) in the coolant to check for any leaks and I want to do the same in the engine oil. I know there are leak detection kits that have at least 4 different color florescent UV dyes for the different automotive fluids, but I can't afford a kit. A (very old) neighbor, who is a long retired mechanic, said he knows there are UV dye colors like blue, red, & white, but he can't remember much more than that . I asked the girl who answered the phone at the local auto-zone about engine oil UV dye's and she said she didn't know of any color but the yellow/green. Thought i would ask here.

Nice of you to try to help. I don't use it at all - just me. Get a mirror and strong flashlight look for "engine oil" as high and forward as any evidence show oily or greasy. That should be the spot then identify the part.
Rule out super common dump stuff like oil drain plugs, oil filters and oil pressure senders. Next anything about any hose to PCV system.
Dye couldn't hurt just not so easy. Color if the only thing you are doing or anyone did should be fine use a UV light bulb or focused pointer.
Both ways first engine off then when running if it's active should show itself well,
