Anyone know what the white cap in this photo is? It has sprung a hole in the middle. The car is a 1998 Ford Taurus. Thanks.

It is a cooling system flushing tee that someone has installed when they were flushing it at a previous time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

That is a coolant system flush T that you can buy as part of a coolant system flush kit at most auto part stores and flea markets. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Gotta add because it looks like cap is broken. You can get just the cap - solid brass at a hardware store as it's a garden hose threaded item. That or get rid of those kits and replace that hose, T
