My car wont start

My car wont start i thought it may be the battery ....i tried to crank the car up it didnt turn over nor did it make a sound when we placed the jumper cables on the car it made clicking noise when i tried to star it yet it never fully cranked up ...left the car at work took the battery with me to get tested and charge the battery was fully charged and good ...please help what could this be

? Nothing with charged tested battery and clicking with added jump. Can you find what is clicking or is it a rapid fire machine gun when it does something? Generally this is low amps getting from battery to starter solenoid.
Little confusing with the difference jumped or not. The battery ability and charge test may not have been very good as a guess. Always rule out lousy cable connections both pos and neg from battery to their destinations,
