I have a 2004 Ford Escape 3.0 V-6 with 114k on it. My issue is I feel a hesitation in the engine in 4th gear at around 1900 rpm if I take out of od to get rpm up it goes away......But lately I have felt it more as long as it's around 1900 rpm I have no power..... Any ideas. I have read allot of posts and seem to have seen everything from transmission to coils to plugs....... Please someone who has seen this problem respond I beg you.

1st thing to do would be to check for codes. If you are getting an ignition misfire it sould set a P030X code. That would help narrow the search............
