Mazda 626 stalling

Hi, wondering if anyone could help me out.

I have a 1993 mazda 626 2.5L Automatic.

Drove it today with no problems. Parked it for a couple of hours and started it up
and left it to warm up. It was fine for the five seconds I was around the car, came back
out and it had stalled. Started it again and drove around. At the first stop sign I got to
It stalled out on me. So now when I stop and am in either P/N/D, the RPM's go down to 0
and it stalls. If I press on the gas a bit and keep the rpm's up a bit it is fine, and it runs well
in every other respect except for when stopping.

Haven't tried anything to fix the problem, because I don't know what I'd try.
Maybe it's the Idle Control Valve?

Oh yeah, I added some oil to the car just before I had this problem, not sure if that could be relevant or not...

Any help would be appreciated.

I AM NOT A MECHANIC BY ANY MEANS, BUT HOPE I CAN HELP YOU, BASED ON THE PROBLEMS I'VE HAD WITH MY CAR.

I have a 99 mazda 626 2.0 automatic & had been having the same problem. I'd have to press the gas a little to get the car to crank & then if the car was in P or if I wasn't going at least about 20 mph, it would cut off. Also if, I turned my a/c or heater on, the rpm needle would fluctuate up & down sometimes making the car shut off. If it was really hot outside, when I got gas, or if I drove it a lot it would shut off more. I had to idle control valve cleaned. That helped some, but a few months later I started having the same problems again. I had to ICV changed & haven't had any more of those problems.
