hey i just installed headers on car and its running just open headers right now cause i didnt take it to the exhaust shop to put the rest of the pipe and mufflers on but i noticed that while doing a test drive i have practically no power, i can floor the gas and it has no pick up at all the headers are a 3 inch collector so im thinking this may be because theres no back pressure but im not sure, any ideas?

No, that's not a backpressure issue unless there is something inside the headers totally plugging them. Go back over your work and see if you burned or crossed the plug wires or pinched a fuel line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
