Vaxhall astra 1.6 petrol 2006 80k miles. Usuall when accelerating but can happen when idling & constant speed. Seems electrical as it's very clinical, doesn't seem like petrol problem. Nothinf shows up when you plug it into the mechanics computer. No pattern as to when it happens, hot or cold. On one occasion when I held my foot on the accelerator the power didn't come back on until if lifted & re-applied it.
