Maintenance of rarely used car

I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla which I bought new this past May. I don't use the car very often as I live across the street from my job and can walk to most errands I need to do. Overall, I drive the car for less than 5 miles a week (And most often, I have to make an intentional effort to take the car out at least once a week). I was wondering if there is any specific maintenance I should be doing on my car. I've heard third hand that by not using the car very often, I would get problems like the fuel line clogging up, or that I should keep the battery disconnected and so on. I would appreciate any advice or references about this issue.

When you do take the car out, be sure to drive it long enough for the engine to reach full operating temp. A 20 mile run on the freeway would be good, two or three times a month. The condensation that builds up in the engine and exhaust needs to be evaporated. I would recommend changing the oil and filter every three months because of this. The battery shouldn't be a problem, especially if the car is garaged. Also, I'd keep the fuel tank full to eliminate condensation.
The type of driving you do is considered "severe", so keep that in mind when it comes to your scheduled services, as per owner's manual.
