WE HAVE A MITSUBISHI PAJERO 1991 WITH A FUEL PROBLEM. THE ENGINE STARTS AND WHEN REVED UP AND RETURNED TO TICKOVER IT STOPS,IT WILL START AGAIN BUT REPEATS THE SAME PROBLEM. CAN ANYONE TELL US WHY. ANY ADVICE. ZELJE NOTE THE REVCOUNTER GOES DOWN TO ZERO AND STOPS THE ENGINE.

zelje; Does this happen whether the engine is cold, hot, or does it matter? When it dies, check for fuel to the injectors and spark to the spark plugs. Could be as simple as a dirty/sticky IAC (idle air control) motor. Loren SW Washington
