Lights on Honda CRV

Help - we are having a problem with our brand new Honda, CRV, 2008, 3500 Miles
Occasionally when you turn off the head lights the dash remains lit up as well as the lights on indicator light on the dash board. Everything is switched off - lights are turned off, car is off, keys are out of ignition - then after a few minutes the dash lights and the lights on indicator begin to flicker for several seconds until finally shutting off. This does not happen every time the lights are on. We have had it into the dealer three times and all we get it "can not duplicate the problem" Any ideas or suggestions as to what they need to check? Thanks
