We have a 2001 Lexus RX300 with 152.000 miles. We started noticing wet floorboards in the front, both driver and passenger. Doesn't seem to be coming from a window or door but from somewhere under the dash. Anyone have any advice about where to look?

Can you tell if it's coolant or clear water?. If it's coolant, than more than likely your heater core is leaking, if it's clear water, then the drain tube for the a/c evaparator may be plugged & the condensation is draining into the passenger compartment....

It is not coolant, definitely. Also, it appears that the condensate is draining adequately because when the A/C is on, there is drainage under the car.

Finally took the car to a Toyota dealer yesterday since I could not find the leak and the rain was coming. After about an hour, the service guy reported that the drain tube from the skylight was plugged with mold and the left side front drain tube was disconnected, thus dumping runoff water inside the car. Well, the rain is coming so we'll see.
