Leaking antifreeze/coolant Sign In

Ford Ranger, 1992. I believe it's a 4 cylinder.

I will load the vehicle up with coolant, drive until it warms up, and if i park, or continue driving, I can hear something spraying underneath the dash on the passenger side. And I get vapor from evaporated antifreeze coming through the vents. When i go to check the engine, it's directly under the passenger side dash where it leaks onto the ground. The hoses on the radiator going into the engine are fine. I was wondering what this other hose (I assume it's a hose that's broken or loose) is for, and whether i can just bypass that hose or do i have to fix it. And if so, any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

Your heater core is most likely leaking . Any shop can replace at a resonable price. If moneys tight you can have it bypassed till fall.
