I own a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant ES. The driver's floor is wet at different times. I can't tell where the water is coming from. I have also noticed that I can't use my windshield washer. Is this somehow connected? What could the problem be?

I doubt the two problems are related but no harm in chasing down the tubing for the washer.

Most leaks as you described seem be from the windshield not sealing properly. Can be tricky to be sure but if you use high quality masking from glass to paint and it quits that's probably it. If so have a pro glass place fix that in case they have to remove the windshield as they have the best shot at not breaking it, T

hey hows your driver side floor. if its also wet id guess that the water from your ac system isnt draining out and overflowing into the front compartment.

Good thought about condensate/water. I was thinking about the driver's side being the left side of the car and lots are not. I don't know if they change the whole distribution box for right hand drive vehicles as I don't see them.

The asian cars do pre - design cars to be either.

Is this a right hand drive vehicle?? T

Still bet it's you windshield. The masking tape as said would pretty much prove that and it wouldn't hurt to check door rubber seals too.

There is an outragous process to find leaks where you fill the cabin wil a gas and detect it coming out thru leaks. Bet that would be monster money, T

if the car is a manual then you could have a leak through the firewall from the clutch master cylinder
