It would take some relief of my mind. 1. The car recommeded tire size is: 175/65/R14. However tyres suppliers in Fiji have more of 175/70/R14. Is it okay to use 175/70/R14? What is the difference? 2. Local dealer has advised that engine mounts are weak. What are the purpose of the engine mounts and how does he tell they are weak and why is necessary repair? 3. Local dealer says that the lower suspension plate bushings are worn, I have bought the part. can the repair of this be done at home garage or is it an expensive dealer garage job. 4. The cars internal light, and rear view mirrow switch is not working, please confirm if this is a fuse problem and is it a costly affair. I would appreciate your fast responce. I haven't check that model but the size is so close it shouldn't be a problem. Some cars will list optional sizes in the door jam. Some mounts will vibrate or start to crack. Or they could've checked how much travel there is when power braking the engine and felt the engine was moving too much.... I'm not real sure of the part you are talking about. If it's strut mounts then you would need a spring compressor to do this at home..... It's very possible you have a bad fuse. Get a test light an check all your fuses.... If it's not a fuse then it would be somewhere between a simple fix to a very costly problem depending on what is bad and how hard it was to find the problem..... Sorry for the slow response but I had my 3yr old grandson last night and was stuck playing Mario all night. (The kids good..) ( reply).. Excellent reply. I was onto the lower front arm attached to the tension rod and the steering knuckle. I have this part, the lower control arm replacement with me. If possible a picture would really help.... As far as the frt suspension goes on that, the frt struts are really the only part that would require special tools. Every thing else is pretty much unbolt & replace.
