Cab 4.8L 90,000K It just started last night. The key is a pain to get out. It sometimes won't turn either. The steering wheel isn't locking in place. I can leave the key and turn it almost to the home position and it turns fine. I'm guessing it's either the ignition switch or the ignition lock cylinder. You guys haven't steered me wrong yet so I always ask before buying parts. Thanks! I tried a different key and it works just fine. I guess the key was just worn. I better get some copies made with the good key or a new key through the dealership or locksmith would probably cost an arm and a leg. Thanks! Just FYI it can be a lock cylinder not just the key itself.
