Jumpy Mitsubishi Space Star 1999

Hello!
My Mitsubishi Space Star 1999 is always really jumpy for the first kilometer of driving. It kind of shudders as if the motor is losing power or something - it only happens when my foot is on the accelerator so i don't think it's a problem with the wheel alignment. It always stops doing it at the same point in the journey, but i can get it to stop juddering more quickly if i put my foot down and rev it up a lot in the lower gears as i'm speeding up. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
