I recently went up an uneven driveway and the plastic guard on the bottom of my 2003 Nissan Altima came down. Now it is dragging against the ground as I drive my car. In addition, there is some kind of wire dangling and I have no idea what it is. It kind of looks like a mini fist with 1 finger sticking up. It is attached to a wire/coil that runs up the right of my hood.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

Its hard to tell what the part you are describing, perhaps a picture of it would help, and in any case there shouldn't be anything dangling...it could end up against something hot and short out whatever.
