Highbeams not lighting On 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T Sign In

Hello,
I am a little stuck. I am wondering if anyone can tell me possibly what might be wrong with my highbeams on a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T. The low beams work. The fuse is good. I have replaced the switch inside the car to turn the lights on and off and that was good. I am not sure if it is a ground somewhere. But all the lights besides the highbeams are working including the fog lights. Also the car is indicating inside the highbeams are on but they will not come on. Is there perhaps a ground somewhere I am not seeing or a component I am overlooking. And if so where would this component or ground be located. I have also bypassed the fuse to see if the highbeams will turn on and they do. In addition I have checked for power up to the fuses and have power but something in the middle is not allowing it to turn on and I am really needing help figuring out what it is.
Thanks
Tim

go to autozone and get a relay switch, it will bypass the fuses but will stil act as a fuse, should work

Hey Smith. Please explain what a relay switch is and how it is going to fix his problem. Thanks

it will let the power flow to the high beams, if there is an over load, then the switch will fail and turn off then back on after the power is corrected, its like a fuse, but u dont have to replace it if there is a power overload, it will correct itself

So what you are talking about is a circuit breaker. Still wont fix lights if there is no power going to them from the switch.

Hey Tim. Have you checked the dimmer switch? You said you replaced the one that turns them off and on, but I am confused by that. (headlight switch or dimmer switch) Have you checked the bulbs to be sure both of them were not blown? Just wondering.

This is Tim again.
The switch replaced was the one on the steering column. The whole headlight and parking light switch. The low beams come on just fine. And when you flick to the highbeams the highbeam lights come on on the dash indicating they are on but in reality they are not on. I did check the bulbs they are fine. I actually bypassed the fuse under the hood, and it turned the highbeams on. So I am a little lost to this point.
