High-pitched squealing while driving. Sign In

I have had my brake pads and brake discs replaced today as I thought this noise was something to do with the brakes. But just my luck that the noise has come back already.

Basically I get a high pitched squeak when the steering wheel turns slightly to the right or turning right, but not every time. The noise stops if I press the brake pedal.

Additional Details
Noise starts off quiet but gets louder the longer you drive. The noise started a few months ago and I took it to one garage who said it was my brakes (They clean them up and replaced the brake pads). The noise came back the following day after leaving the garage and started to get louder, so yesterday I took it back to the garage who replaced the discs as well.

The noise does not appear when on full lock go forward, but does when on full lock reserve left.

No noise when the car is stationary, even if you turn the steering wheel.

Noise is loud enough that you can hear it over the radio and gunning the engine makes no difference.

A dry wheel seal will do that also.

No, I mean a wheel seal where it rides on the axle.
