It is a 94 gmc safari. I did bleed the system and there is no fluid coming from the front left. I even disconnected the new hose and still no fluid. I just got the van from a guy that drove it with a hole in the hose. So yes, everything does make sense now. I just did not think that much air could have gotten in.
