Hello everyone! I have a 98 sunfire gt 2.4l hear that is overheating in - 4 weather in the madder of 5 minutes boiling coolant like crazy it has no wite smoke or discolorations in oil or coolant, pump is about 1 1/2 year old and brand new thermostat. If pump was malfunctioning would it boilover that fast or is this a head gasket.

Someone is going to have to do some testing to isolate the issue. ie, chemical test, pressure test, laser temp readings

Would the system build pressure if the pump wasn't spinning? Thanks
