Hard to start on cold days Sign In

I have a 1998 Ford F-150 Single cab pick-up truck with a V-6 and 119,000 miles on it. It cranks and runs fine in warm weather but as soon as it turns cold (40's & 50's) it is very hard to start, the engine turns over just fine, but it seems like it is not getting fuel immediately . This only happens when it is cold outside, otherwise it works great.

have your truck scanned for codes. The engine temp sensor is a common fault.
