HID bulbs Sign In

I have a 08 scion xb. 5000 miles. I wanted to know if H4 bulbs would fit into h11 socket for my car.
i recently purchased a HID conversion kit and was having trouble installing it. I couldn't get the bulb to fit snuggly into the socket. The bulb said h11, however the instruction book that came with the kit said the h4 type. I compared the base of the stock bulb to the new one and they look very much alike, however I can barely tell if the new bulb is slightly bigger. what should i do?

Re: HID bulbs Sign In

contact the HID bulb manufacturer to verify your application. i would say you would need a HID H4 bulb. your wiring harness is engineered for that H4 bulb for its wattage, and Ohm Resistance.

NO! The H4 and H11 are 2 completely different globes. You will have to get a globe kit for H11. I am not sure if HID lights are out in a H11 yet. I think they do a H4, HB4, HB3, H3 and H1. Here is a site that can help you.
