Good glue/epoxy to repair fender crack on '07 Civic?

Today my car got hit, ever so slightly, but it caused a rip in the body of the car right about the front, driver's side tire. I really don't have the cash for a shop to fix the thing, and I'm thinking I can seal this myself and make it look pretty new (with patience and convincing the wife, of course). Is there a good glue or epoxy you could recommend that would do this? I found an old thread in another forum, right here that suggests:
"3M has a two-component acrylic epoxy specifically made for bonding to these difficult plastics. It is called Scotch-Weld DP8005 ([url=http://cms.3m.com/cms/GB/en/0-169/ikeckFR/view.jhtml]3M UK & Ireland : Products for industry and manufacturing including sandpaper, abrasives, cleaning products, tapes, adhesives and filters) and it works very well. I have used it to repair the bumper cover on my '94 Civic. You can get it from industrial supply houses like R.S. Hughes or from Grainger (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/pro...mId=1611777266)" I'm hoping for something I don't have to mix or heat up and is fairly simple. I found this Alvin Lab-Metal stuff. Would it work? Thanks for any help you can give me!

If someone hit your car, why are you trying to repair it? Ther other driver's insurance should pay for all of the repair. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

personally you would just be putting a temporary bandaid on a larger problem. the metal cracked because of a large amount of stress that bent other parts the fender is bolted to. the time and effort in trying to make it presentable wont be worth it. the crack will probably appear again in a short amount of time or cause problems some place else.
