Recently my girlfriend tried to put some oil in my Nissan Sentra and ended up putting more than a quart extra and also decided that she didn't need to use a funnel. Due to these problems my car will not start. I drained all of the oil and refilled it at the appropriate level, but it still won't start. I think that I may need new spark plugs but I'm not sure. Any ideas????

I do not really think the oil overfill or spillage has anything to do with the no start. Unless the oil ran down on the coil and is shorting the spark to ground. Please give us a little more information such as year and engine size. Also what is it doing when it won't start. Does the engine turn over?(makes noise like it is trying to start) Or no noise at all. The more information we have, the better we can assist you.
