2000 Gmc 3500, 350 just stops running, wait 5 min. and it starts. Changed fuel filter ran 400 miles then died again. Changed fuel pump relay, ran 400 mi., died again. Fuel pump is only 5 years old. It is not over heating. I am wondering if I should suspect the coil winding is openining and then closing when it cools?

Have you confirmed a fuel pressure loss at the moment this happens? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
