Fuel System Cleaners- Anyone Use them?

I was just wondering if anyone uses those fuel system cleaners that you dump into your gas tank. They recommend use every 5000 clicks. What do you people think of them? Would a can of seafoam do the same thing?

Hi,
I don't generally like additives or snake oil for fixes but I do in this case. SeaFoam makes some very strong solvents that have bailed me out of some existing problems. That particular product seems so strong that I suggest far less of it than it probably says to use.
I think periodic use can ward off problems. Don't fall into that "every tank" of gas thing. If a problem already exists it's a crap shoot as to if it can fix it.
I have the most trouble with seasonal gasoline using things - lawn mowers/snow blowers and things that get put away for an off season. It used to be that unleaded fuel was clean enough but there are ton's of non lead additives in it that are not as stable as they should be and become the problem.
Use these products sparingly. Some manufacturers suggest periodic cleaning and I believe it now as I just had two similar vehicles throw codes for O2 sensors that were not bad but a hard drive and solvents have corrected both!!
Another thing to do periodically is use some isopropyl based water remover for fuel. Moisture in air and the various temps of the year do create some water from condensation and as a vehicle gets on in years it does become a problem,
