93 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cyl. While driving i experience a lot of shaking and vibration from the front end of my car. I can feel it through the steering when too. Driving on the streets i don't really feel it. It's very noticable while i'm on the FWY at 40+mph. Steering feels normal. I feel it even more when the roads are bumpy. When i ease off the gas it vibrates less. The front tires i had before did show inner wear. I think i need a front end alignment. Also how do you know when you need to replace the shocks? Any help or suggestion will be appreciated Thanks Rudy

I'm no mechanic, but i am going to roll with a wheel alignment, and tyre balance. Greater concern may be the struts, but i dont think its that far.

I do not think the shaking is caused by mis-alignment. Although it may be a good idea to have one done when the tire balance is completed. I agree with the balance issue since you stated it starts at a certain speed. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

Bad balance wheel you will notice that at around 50mph (80kph) will start to shake and vibrate and when you reach above 62mpd(100kph) it start to even out again . Just a tip on balanced wheels What happens on the Camry is the bottom control arm bushings, ball joint, strut supports go bad and will give you a bad front end shake and vibration .
